THE BIG, BAD, BOLD BETA SECTION:
• Yes, thats right, this release is a beta release (beta 17 to be exact). Right now it is compiled only for 68k cuz my compiler fucks up whenever I try to compile the PPC version... when the final release is done, PPC and 68k versions will both be available. Anyway, this should work just peachy on a PPC mac so keep your pants on!!
• There are probably lots of bugs and some features have NOT been implemented yet. File Transfers are working but are VERY barebones at the moment and I will be looking for suggestions and such to fix up that section please email me (phrack_addict@softhome.net)
• Report ALL BUGS TO: phrack_addict@softhome.net and I will fix them as soon as possible. I am releasing this beta so that I can have help fixing bugs and stuff.
• MOST IMPORTANT: USE THIS PROGRAM RESPONSIBLY!!!
• This program is not fully documented yet so you'll have to figure some stuff out on your own... its not that hard, trust me!!

Introduction:
This upgrade is LOOOONNGGG overdue but the original 2.5 was very buggy and getting me no where so I put it on the back burner while I sat around and did nothing. Then one day I had an idea to completely re-write it from scratch to get all the buggy bug bugs out and when I did that, things just started working better (for the most part, anyway).
This version is totally different from 2.0 (oh please say you never used that... more bugs than a Microsoft product) or even the origional 2.5. Here is a listing of some of the most noticible changes:
(a) A new "Tracker" works a little like the Hotline tracker and alows you to keep track of computers that have TakeDown™ installed on them. I advise you to use this program VERY wisely because it COULD be easy to track with IPNetMonitor (even though every effort was made to make it as un-tracable as possible).
(b) Server program almost impossible to get rid of now. I won't go into detail about how this works because its not nessisary, lets just say that I worked long and hard to make sure this thing stays where it is. If you "accidentally" run it on your computer, use the "TakeDown™ Remover 1.0" in the "TakeDown™ Utilties" folder to get rid of it. (More about that in it's read me file)
(c) Server is now configurable. You can change the port, add a username/password, and specify the address the "TakeDown™ tracker should go to. Check out "TakeDown™ Config 2.5" in the "TakeDown™ Utilties" folder.
(d) Client is now multi-user. Why be the only one to completely mutilate a computer? Now you can share the fun with your friends. Up to 20 users at a time can be connected and you can disconnect them, message them and get some information about them.
(e) You can now quit peoples processes rather than only being able to bring them to the front.
(f) Probably the thing you will love the most: FILE TRANSFERS!! Thats right! Upload stuff to the victim computer or download their files. Warez servers that they will never know they are hosting...
(g) Probably the thing you will love second most: TAKEDOWN™ IS ABSOLUTELY FREE. Thats right! Unlike WeeDo's lame 15 dollar program, you can cause all the network mayhem you could possibly ever want without having to pay a cent. My reward is the happy look on each of your faces as you invade someone's privacy.
(f) TakeDown™ 2.5 works better than 1.2 (and it should!). The h@ck industries™ intelligence team actually decided to thoughly test this program. We have done as much testing as we possibly could to make sure it actually works.
